Hundreds of children – every one of them a very special individual

Our aim is to help you to give your child the best possible start in life. It’s something that we’ve continued to do since The Rocking Horse Nursery was first opened in 1992 by its current owner.

Over the years we have provided the highest levels of childcare to hundreds of children and, because the nursery has been established for so long, we regularly welcome children to the nursery whose parents attended the nursery themselves in their pre-school years!

Operating from our ‘real home’ premises, we continually reinvest in the facilities, educational and play equipment, and - most importantly - our staff. Our dedicated team has many long serving members with invaluable years of experience in caring for and teaching children.

When you’re deciding on the right childcare nursery for your child, it’s reassuring to see exactly where your child will be and to meet the people who will be caring for them. That’s why we actively encourage you to make an appointment to view the nursery/nurseries that you are interested in. It’s also useful to see what other parents think of the care and facilities on offer.

As a leading childcare nursery, we pride ourselves on always being approachable and flexible, where possible, to accommodate your needs as a parent or guardian. Our fees continue to be some of the lowest in the area and parents can pretty much tailor the amount of childcare hours to suit their requirements.

If you would like to arrange an appointment to view our facilities; would like to receive a brochure or more information; or have any questions regarding the childcare services we provide, please use the contact form below or give us a call.
