Tweenie Room
2½ years - 3 years
The Tweenie Room is a large spacious area designed to encourage the children to become interested in, and excited about, learning.
Staff assist in motivating the children to learn both in groups and independently to help them develop at their own pace.
The daily routine allows for free play and carefully planned activities, along with child initiated activities, including time in the fully enclosed, all-weather surface garden.
Lunch time is a socialising time when children are given the opportunity to try new food with their friends and encouraged to get involved in dishing up their own vegetables. The staff act as role models - teaching children how to use a knife and fork correctly and encouraging good social skills at meal times.
Our staff maintain regular contact with parents and periodically invite parents to talk about their child’s progress and development in the privacy of the nursery’s first floor meeting room, or at more informal parents’ evenings.
The nursery’s opening times are:
Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm
(Excluding public holidays)
